4 days Tour – Rome

The Tour starts in the Airport/Port of your arrival. We will welcome you on board of our comfortable 56 seats Iveco Magelys bus.
First stop at the Hotel in Rome or nearby, to drop off luggage and relax after the long trip. It may be possible to have a quick visit of the city during the night, before overnight stay.

The second day will be dedicated to the visit of Rome. Bus transfer to the centre of the city to discover its artistic and cultural attractions. Visit of the Imperial Rome and the Baroque Rome: Colosseum, Arch of Constantine, The ancient Fora, Capitoline Hill, Piazza Venezia, Altare della Patria (Altar of the Fatherland), Pantheon, Piazza Navona, Bernini’s Fountain, Sant’Agnese in Agone Church, Borromini’s Sant’Ivo alla Sapienza with Bernini’s facade and the iconic Trevi Fountain.

In the morning departure by Bus to Tivoli to visit the majestic Villa d’Este, Italian masterpiece in the artof gardening, listed as a UNESCO world heritage site. The fame and glory of the Villa d’Este was above all established by its extraordinary system of fountains; fifty-one fountains and nymphaeums, 398 spouts, 364 water jets, 64 waterfalls, and 220 basins, fed by 875 meters of canals, channels and cascades, and all working entirely by the force of gravity, without pumps.
In the afternoon visit to Hadrian’s Villa, UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built by the request of the Emperor Hadrian, the Villa is a monumental living complex that even today continues to display the lavishness and enormous power of Ancient Rome. At rhe end of the visit, back to the Hotel in Rome and overnight stay.

Depending on the flight departure time, possibility to go for an extra excursion at the Quirinal Palace, historic building in Rome, one of the three current official residences of the President of the Italian Republic, located on the Quirinal Hill, the highest of the seven hills of Rome. It has housed thirty Popes, four Kings of Italy and twelve presidents of the Italian Republic. The palace extends for an area of 110,500 square metres and is the ninth-largest palace in the world in terms of area. At the end of the visit Bus transfer to the Airport.
